Verification and privacy
We check that your address and institution match an educational institution. Depending on the situation, we may ask you for a supporting document.
We only keep your school address, your institution, your role, any details you add and the decision, for as long as your account exists.

Confirm your address
A link arrives by email: it proves the address is yours. If your account is new, you choose your password at the same time.
Get the answer
Usually within a few hours, at the latest within 48 hours. Your licence turns on by itself and an email confirms it.
Length and renewal
The licence lasts 24 months. From 30 days before the end, renew it for free from your account: we simply confirm your school address, and the 24 new months are added to the end date.
Without a renewal, your account returns to the free plan. All your content is kept: quizzes, sessions, reports and whiteboards.
Already paying for Pomlet Pro? Your subscription stops at the end of the period already paid, with no new charge, and the 24 free months take over.
What it covers
Pomlet for Education is for school use: your lessons, the life of your school and supporting your students. Personal use (a party, a wedding…) or paid work outside your institution needs a Pro licence.
Proportionate checks may take place, on the titles of launched sessions only. Pomlet may withdraw a free licence at any time, in particular in case of non-compliant use, without having to give a reason.

Frequently asked questions
Is it really free?+
Yes: 24 months of Pomlet Pro, no credit card and no commitment. Nothing is charged at the end: if you do not renew, your account simply returns to the free plan.
I teach with a personal email address. Can I apply?+
An institutional address is normally required. If you only have a personal address, explain your situation in “Additional information” and include details that help verify your teaching role. An exception requires manual review and is not guaranteed.
Do my students need an account?+
No. They join the session from a phone or computer with a PIN, a QR code or a link, without an account or an app.
What happens after 24 months?+
From 30 days before the end, you can renew for free from your account. Without a renewal, your account returns to the free plan and all your content is kept.
I already pay for Pomlet Pro. What happens?+
Applying does not change your subscription. If your request is approved, automatically or after manual review, a subscription bought on the website is automatically cancelled at the end of the monthly or annual period already paid. The 24 free months then take over without interruption or another charge. An email confirms the dates. While pending or if refused, your subscription continues as usual. For an App Store subscription, you must turn off renewal yourself in your iPhone settings.
My school wants to equip a whole team?+
Each teacher applies individually. The Pro for organizations plan provides central management of members, roles and single sign-on. For help bringing several teachers on board, contact support@pomlet.com.
Can I use it for a private event?+
No: Pomlet for Education covers school use. For a party, a wedding or paid work outside your institution, the Pro plan is needed.
