Live polls

Live polls that everyone can answer from their phone

Pomlet live polls let you ask a question, collect answers from the whole room and show the results on the shared screen. Choose a multiple-choice poll, a rating scale, an open answer or a word cloud, and combine them with quiz questions, idea boards and a collaborative whiteboard in the same session. Participants join with a PIN or QR code, without installing anything.

No card required · Free for up to 8 participants per session

How it works

  1. Write your question

Add a poll with 2 to 6 options, a scale from 1 to a maximum between 3 and 10, or an open question.

  2. Share the PIN or QR code

Participants join from any browser on a phone or a computer.

  3. Collect the answers

The host screen follows the number of answers. Close the question when everyone has voted.

  4. Reveal and discuss

Show the distribution to the room, then keep every answer in the session report.

Four ways to ask the room

Multiple-choice poll

Two to six options and no correct answer: collect preferences, opinions or the temperature of the room.

Rating scale

Let people choose a value from 1 to a maximum between 3 and 10, with optional labels at each end.

Open answer

Collect short responses of up to 280 characters, then read the most useful ones aloud.

Word cloud

Ask for up to 10 words each; the most frequent words grow on screen.

Up to 1,000 people

Free covers up to 8 participants per session; Pro supports up to 1,000 at once.

Reports and export

Find the distribution of each question in the session report and export the answers as a CSV file.

Poll ideas

  • Meeting check-in: “How confident are you about the launch date?” on a 1–5 scale.
  • Class vote: choose the theme of the next lesson or project.
  • Event: let the audience vote for the most useful talk of the day.
  • Training: “Which situation do you find hardest?” before a role-play.
  • Team decision: compare three options, then develop the winner on a whiteboard.
  • Closing feedback: a scale plus an open question for suggestions.

Tips for polls that lead somewhere

  • Keep options short and mutually exclusive.
  • Use a scale when you need intensity, not just a choice.
  • Show the results, then ask one person per group to explain their vote.
  • End with an open answer to capture what the numbers do not say.
