1. Technologies we use
Pomlet may use cookies, local storage and session storage. Cookies are small files stored by the browser. Local storage and session storage are browser storage mechanisms that help the app remember information on the same device.
2. Strictly necessary cookies
Pomlet uses necessary cookies to keep signed-in users authenticated, protect accounts and let whiteboard guests recover their contributor identity. Without the relevant cookies, account features or guest reconnection cannot work properly.

- Authenticates signed-in users and protects account sessions.
- Duration
- Up to 30 days, unless you log out earlier.
- Purpose
- Recognizes a browser profile for account security and abuse monitoring.
- Duration
- Up to 1 year, unless browser data is cleared earlier.
- Purpose
- Stores an opaque, board-specific token so a guest can reconnect with the same contributor identity.
- Duration
- Up to 1 year, unless cookies are cleared earlier.
3. Functional attribution cookie
In its current implementation, Pomlet sets this cookie as soon as a visitor opens a valid affiliate link. It preserves the first valid, unexpired attribution; opening another affiliate link later may be recorded as a click without replacing that attribution. This cookie is not required for Pomlet's core features and can be blocked or deleted in the browser.

- Remembers the first valid affiliate attribution so a sign-up and related commissions can be linked to the correct affiliate.
- Duration
- Up to 60 days, unless cookies are blocked or cleared earlier.
4. Local and session storage
Pomlet may store limited information on your device, including:
- player nickname for a specific game PIN, so the player can reconnect smoothly;
- anonymous player identity for a specific live game, so reconnection can restore their place in the game;
- for a whiteboard joined as a guest, an opaque token, nickname, contributor identity and join-confirmation information, so the same identity can be restored after a refresh or reopen;
- demo return paths, so a user can return to the page where they launched the demo;
- temporary interface preferences or in-progress state needed for product functionality.
This browser storage is device-specific and remains until it is replaced or cleared. Clearing browser data may make reconnecting to an active game or whiteboard harder.
5. Analytics and advertising cookies
Pomlet does not use advertising cookies. For privacy-friendly traffic measurement, Pomlet may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not rely on advertising cookies or third-party marketing analytics cookies. If Pomlet adds analytics or advertising cookies, this policy will be updated and consent controls will be provided where required.
6. Third-party services
Third-party services used for payment, authentication, email, images or AI may set their own cookies or use similar technologies when you interact with them, such as when you are redirected to a checkout or billing portal. Their own cookie and privacy policies apply.
7. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent Pomlet from working. Deleting local storage may remove saved names, player and whiteboard-guest reconnect identities, and demo navigation state. Blocking or deleting the affiliate cookie may prevent a sign-up and related commissions from being attributed.
