Nursery rhyme quiz: 10 melodies to recognize
A familiar tune can bring children and adults into the same game. This nursery rhyme blind test contains ten audio excerpts, each lasting 16 seconds, followed by a written song-title answer. Common titles in English, French, Spanish and German are accepted. The recordings stay the same in every version, so any vocals remain in their original language.

How to run this activity

Listen and choose
Use the player to hear each excerpt before the session. Keep melodies your group has a chance to recognize and remove unfamiliar ones in the editor. Read the accepted titles there too.

Prepare the sound and devices
Play from the host device through speakers at a comfortable volume. Participants answer on their own device; pair younger children with an adult who can type their answer.

Explain the pace
The template provides 16 seconds of music and ten more seconds to answer, with no speed bonus. Decide beforehand whether you will replay an excerpt. This is a listening activity, not a spelling exercise.

Discuss the different names
After the answer appears, invite people to share another title or a memory of the song. The host can accept another valid answer during review; check it before moving on.
