What is Pomlet MCP?
Pomlet MCP connects your account to an external AI assistant such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Codex, or Claude Code. You create quizzes, whiteboards, and sessions from that assistant. MCP access is included with Free and Pro. Your Pomlet plan limits and any charges from your AI assistant still apply. In an organization, MCP access to the organization’s content is set per member and off by default: an owner or admin turns it on in the MCP column of “Teams & access”. It stays limited to the folders the member can access and to their editing rights. Personal MCP access always stays available. How do I connect Claude or ChatGPT?
Open the account menu → Account settings → MCP and choose the Claude or ChatGPT tab. Claude (web or desktop): Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → server URL https://mcp.pomlet.com/mcp → Connect, then sign in to Pomlet and allow access. ChatGPT: Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings → turn on developer mode, then Create a connector with the same URL and OAuth. Custom connectors depend on your assistant plan, and in a company workspace an admin may need to allow them. Web assistants cannot send files from your computer: give them a public image link or add the file in the editor.
